Just doing some shameless fic sharing. This was a fic that was requested by Rhi a while back. Basically, she wanted to see the last spat between young Marlowe and Sully directly after Nate snatches Drake’s ring. They very clearly turn to face one another after her agents start running after Nate. But as it goes with most things in the series (not that I’m complaining of course) we never get to see it since it’s from Nate’s POV.

I had it on my to-do list, but inspiration struck and I had to work on it… I literally woke up with the most vivid dialogue in my head and I had to write it down. I blame y’all on the RP! ;D Seriously, it hit me hard with the saddest of young Marlowe/Sully feels. You guys are so inspiring. ♥

I have a lot of feelings regarding this exchange… so I might make a rambling post later about it.

Oboy, so we go from fluffy cute stuff straight into the land of depression. 

I’m not normally into writing things that are AU… but this little fic didn’t give me a choice in the matter. It was the result of an incredibly vivid dream that I had back in March. I had to write about it upon awakening, because it wouldn’t leave my head. 

I’ve been hanging onto this one for a while because I never intended to share it with the world (it feels much more personal to me being the result of a dream) but now that Miss Del has drawn this beautiful (and heartbreaking) artwork to accompany it we figured we could share. 

And make everyone depressed.

I never expected to have this many feelings about Talbot. And now I have all these headcanons about how seriously messed up the guy is.

I actually cried when it got to the part about Marlowe dying.

This is what happens when you explore Marlowe’s secret library of artifact overflow for far too long in U3. We saw something pretty interesting in there, and thus I had to write about it. I couldn’t resist.

But yes! I wrote this story just for Del. It was kind of an excuse to write some action bits and Talbot being beat up and also more Talbot and Marlowe relationship stuffs. It also has a cameo appearance from Harris!

[Without You] “There was always that one little thing they could never live without: each other.” This one isn’t super shippy or anything and I tried to focus more on Talbot’s backstory than anything. It includes a teenage Talbot flashback and explains how their relationship started, so that’s why this one comes first despite the main setting taking place in the present.

[In the Next Room] A restless young Talbot is tormented by his own thoughts in the middle of the night. One-sided Talbot/Marlowe. This is young Talbot and Marlowe, so he’s in his 20s, she’s in her 40s. He’s a bit of a creeper. But a cute creeper…Oops.

[By Your Side] When Talbot’s first mission goes horribly awry, Marlowe’s life hangs in the balance… and it’s up to him to keep her safe. More young Talbot, this time in his mid-20s. Again, if you don’t like super shippy stuff this one is safe!

[A Bite to Eat] SERIOUS SHIPPING WARNING. During an evening spent together at a fancy restaurant, Talbot learns how to whet Marlowe’s appetite. Yep. There be hard-to-ignore romantic relationships in this one.

It may seem to have come out of nowhere, but- One of the only things that has kept me sane in the pre-Ohayocon stressful rush has been chatting with my dear friend Lindsey about fangirling and Uncharted OTPS T_T and just tonight she finished a fanfic story she wrote for me (OHMIGOD) for Marlowe and Talbot ;~; it is.. so.. goddamn cute.. and awesome. I can’t even explain all these feels..!! and it was such a nice present and treat to read and chill out after packing everything phew! So.. I doodled fanart of her fanfic, which is above :D <3 <3

I must echo the above sentiments in saying that pre-Ohayocon and life in general have been so amazing and non-stressful since we started our daily in-depth chats about Uncharted. Not only is it quality bonding time but it gives me something to look forward to! I’m so glad that we started discussing this couple because I really do think they’re precious, and generally unloved by fans… and they need some more love. YOU HAVE OPENED MY EYES TO THE TALLOWE~

In which things get massively awkward for Chloe and Cutter, just in time for Nate and and the crew to visit.

In which more fluff ensues in my ChloexCutter fic as the couple gets settled back in England (and plot kind of happens… sort of). I tried to at least introduce the fact that Nate and the crew will be in the next chapter. Plus… CONFLICT is imminent. Dun daaaaa daaaa.

I am super shameless lately and I do not give one single shit. My friends urged me to write more ChloexCutter. It doesn’t help that I have an obsession with these two. I regret nothing!

It’s probably gonna be fairly fluffy until I write a serious chapter in which ~FEELINGS~ are addressed. Oh boy! You have been warned.
